coret -every day vegan gohan
Vegan
About
Coret is a fully vegan cafe in Koenji that opened in June 2025 with a focus on everyday Japanese plant based meals. The centerpiece of the menu is enzyme brown rice, cooked with red beans and fermented over four days for a soft, chewy texture and added nutritional density. Main sets pair the rice (or rice flour bread) with options like vegan wheat katsu and dry curry, alongside leafy green salad, pickles, and a selection from a rotating daily side dish buffet. The sweets menu includes seasonal tarts, muffins, and a soft serve ice cream used in specialty shakes. The cafe sits on the ground floor of Koenji Apartment Terrace in a quieter residential stretch between Koenji and Asagaya stations.
